Yastreb 1.0 / Yastreb-S
Wideband anti-drone and SATCOM jammer (in development)
Family of Russian EW systems ('Hawk') from JSC NPP, backed by Russia's Foundation for Advanced Studies (FPI). The baseline Yastreb 1.0 was announced in late January 2026 and, according to TASS (26 Sep 2026), was to be handed to the troops in November for troop trials, possibly in the war zone. Yastreb-S (Izvestia, 7 Oct 2026) adds a frequency-shifting module and is meant to disrupt satellite links such as Starlink as well. All performance figures are developer claims; no test data on Yastreb-S has been published.

- Role
- Detecting and jamming drone control and video links, GNSS and satellite links
- Design
- A single compact emitter module instead of a battery of band-specific jammers and antennas; fixed or vehicle-mounted
- Status
- Yastreb 1.0 in final testing, troop trials from Nov 2026 (TASS); Yastreb-S not yet tested
Performance (claim)
- Frequency
- Yastreb 1.0: automatic scanning 100 MHz–6 GHz; Yastreb-S: up to 15 GHz
- Coverage
- Drone bands 433 MHz–5.8 GHz, GPS/GLONASS and, according to the developer, Starlink (Ku band)
- Functions
- Link detection and parameters, countering frequency hopping, jamming; reconnaissance mode with emitter direction-finding and sometimes interception of drone video
Threat
- Effect
- Local disruption of drone C2 and possibly of a Starlink link during a drone's approach
- Limitation
- 15 GHz covers Starlink's Ku-band user links but not the Ka band; even Topwar considers full blocking from the ground unlikely; the vehicle is vulnerable to counter-EW and small drones
- Threat level
- Medium — not yet operational, series production uncertain
- Source
- Topwar (8 Oct 2026), based on TASS and Izvestia — RU Mil Tracker e-20261009-s16; developer claims, not independently confirmed
